Significant inflation in Sweden means a raised Customer Price Index. This in turn raises our rents to the different property owners of our housing areas. This means that in most of our student housing areas, we will have to raise the rent. Not all areas are affected, however. Due to significant inflation in Sweden, we will have to increase the rent at most of our student housing areas by 8%. As y

Caregiving time costs and trade-offs: Gender differences in Sweden, the UK, and Canada

Malmö - befolkningsstudiernas Mecka
Malmö förebyggande medicin och Malmö Kost Cancer är två flaggskepp när det gäller befolkningsstudier, både nationellt och internationellt. Orsaken är deras storlek och långvarighet. Why repetitive DNA matters for human brain evolution and disease
For decades, large stretches of human DNA were dismissed as ‘junk’ and considered to serve no real purpose. In a new study in Cell Genomics, researchers at Lund University in Sweden show that the repetitive part of the human genome plays an active role during early brain development and may also be relevant for understanding brain diseases. Consumers’ attitudes captured on film
A lot of research on human behaviour is based entirely on words: researchers read, ask questions, send out questionnaires and write reports. But this means they miss a lot of elements concerning sound, sights and people’s interaction with their physical surroundings. Devrim Umut Aslan wants to study consumers’ attitudes to a shopping environment (Södergatan in Helsingborg) from a sociocultural per
