Popular Abstract in English In this thesis we investigate the manipulation of the magnetic properties of molecular magnets by means of external electric fields. This manipulation is mediated by either the spin-electric coupling or the magnetic anisotropy of the molecular magnet. In order to understand what this means, let us first explain some basic concepts about magnetism. We will start explainiThis dissertation investigates theoretically electric control of the magnetic properties of molecular magnets. Two classes of magnetic molecules are considered. The first class consists of molecules that are spin frustrated.
