Denna uppsats behandlar vårdnadsregleringen i 6 kap. föräldrabalken (1949:381), med tonvikt på principen om barnets bästa. Principen ska vara avgörande i varje beslut gällande barn enligt 6 kap. 2 a § FB. Att barnets bästa står i centrum vid bedömning har länge varit fallet i svensk rätt. Vad som är intressant med denna princip är att den är i ständig förändring då innebörden påverkas av samhället
