We show that the characteristic p⊥ spectrum yields valuable information for the test of models for the production of narrow graviton resonances in the TeV range at LHC. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that in those scenarios the parton showering formalism agrees with the prediction of NLO matrix element calculations.
We calculate next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to electroweak Higgs boson plus three jet production. Both vector boson fusion (VBF) and Higgs-strahlung type contributions are included along with all interferences. The calculation is implemented within the MATCHBOX NLO framework of the HERWIG++ event generator.
We present an updated analysis of isospin-violating corrections to ϵ0=ϵ in the framework of chiral perturbation theory, taking advantage of the currently improved knowledge on quark masses and nonperturbative parameters. The role of the different ingredients entering into the analysis is carefully assessed. Our final result is ωeff = 0:110 +0:090 -0:088 [1].
I give an overview of the calculations done in three-flavour Chiral perturbation theory at next-to-next-to-leading order with an emphasis on those relevant for an improvement in the accuracy of the measurement of Vus.
