Denna stora uppvisning har dock inte lett till någon större forskningsinsats på valaffischer, utan det finns ett mycket smalt utbud av studier av svenska valaffischer. ForEvery fourth year at, during elections, a certain type of communication appears. Election posters are still today printed in large quantities and placed at locations all throughout Sweden, which entails a large exposure to the inhabitants. Yet, this display has not lead to a great amount of research on election posters, but there is a small number of studies of Swedish election posters. Research
