Prosody and Grammar in L2

In this project, Mikael Roll (PI) and Sabine Gosselke Berthelsen (reseacher) investigate the acquisition of prosody and grammar in adult learners of new languages. We study at what point prosody-grammar-associations induce predictive processing and which learner-internal (e.g., language background, musicality, brain structure) and external factors (e.g., learning context) most strongly influence the process.

The project is located within the TEAM (Transdisciplinary Approaches to Learning, Acquisition, Multilingualism) programme led by Marianne Gullberg and Jonas Granfeldt and funded by RJ (Riksbankens Jubileumsfond).
