Varför vet alla med svenska som modersmål att det heter "en intressant bok" och inte "en bok intressant"? Det beror på vår fantastiska, inre grammatik. Insikten om hur man uttrycker sig på modersmålet är något som barnet lär sig under de första levnadsåren, och redan i treårsåldern behärskar barnet huvuddelen av de omedvetna regler och principer som styr hur meningarna i modersmålet är uppbyggda.
