The protein TDP-43 is involved in different neurodegenerative diseases, and Åsa Petersén and Sofia Bergh have investigated whether the protein harms the hypothalamus. When in Sweden for their annual meeting, members of the European Huntington Association paid a visit to Lund on 28 August 2025. On 9-11 September 2025 the Arturo Falaschi Conference “2nd biennial conference on TDP-43 function and dysfunction in disease” will be held in Trieste, Italy. The Swedish channel TV4 published the news on the HD clinical trials that were positively described in media in late September.
