Dalby – The Famous Place

In Dalby, southern Sweden, there is a church, monastery and manor that has evoked much interest lately. In the year 2010 a conference was held to elucidate the ongoing research related to the site and what could be formulated as a platform for further research in the future. As part of the work relating to Digital Heritage, our group is now preparing for a digital version of parts of the church to be able to test different views relating to the archtecture and use of the church in the Middle Ages. The research cooperation work is interdisciplinary, involving historical archeology, theology, architecture, technology and art history.
