I will discuss how the representation of sound features in early auditory cortex is changed by experience and stimulus history. I will focus on the representation of spectrotemporal modulations and spatial cues. I will show how high-resolution FMRI and miniaturized programmable earplugs can be used to study auditory brain plasticity.
